ইস্তানবুলে অবস্থানরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশীরাসহ বাংলাদেশ স্টুডেন্ট এসোসিয়েশন তুরষ্ক (বাসাত) এর সদস্যদের প্রানবন্ত উপস্থিতির মাধ্যমে সাড়ম্বরে উদ্যাপন হয়েছে গৌরবময় এই দিন। 
সকালে জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন এবং বঙ্গবন্ধুর প্রতিকৃতিতে শ্রদ্ধা জ্ঞাপনের মাধ্যমে দিনের সূচনা করেন কনস্যুল জেনারেল মোহাম্মদ নূরে-আলম। অনুষ্ঠানিক কর্মকান্ডের মধ্যে ছিল প্রামাণ্যচিত্র প্রদর্শনী
,, আলোচনা সভা, সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান ও বিশেষ আপ্যায়ণ 
।
বাসাতের পক্ষ থেকে অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখেন সহ সভাপতি সাইয়্যেদ মাগফুর আহমদ ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক নাসরুজ্জামান নাঈম।
আজকের এই দিনে শ্রদ্ধা আর ভালোবাসায় স্মরণ করছি জাতির শ্রেষ্ঠ সন্তানদের।

The Bangladesh Consulate in Istanbul celebrated the 53rd Victory Day of Bangladesh with great enthusiasm! This special day was marked by the lively presence of members from the Bangladesh Student Association Turkey (BASAT) and fellow expatriate Bangladeshis in Istanbul.
Starting the day on a proud note, Consul General Mohammed Noore-Alam raised the national flag and paid homage to Bangabandhu’s portrait. The day’s activities included watching documentaries , participating in panel discussions, enjoying cultural program, and having special dishes.
Vice President Syed Magfur Ahmad and General Secretary Nasruzzaman Naeem spoke on behalf of BASAT.
On this meaningful day, we remembered the outstanding children of our nation with respect and love. Long live Bangladesh!
