আজ পবিত্র জুমা নামাজের পর ইস্তাম্বুলের ঐতিহাসিক ফাতিহ মসজিদ প্রাঙ্গনে আমাদের সবার প্রিয় মরহুম তারেকুল ইসলাম ভাইয়ের গায়েবানা জানাজা নামাজ সম্পন্ন করা হয়।
জানাজা নামাজের ইমামতি করেন মাওলানা মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান ও জানাজা নামাজের পূর্বে শোক বক্তব্য রাখেন তোকাত গাজি ওসমানপাশা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট প্রফেসর ড. হাফিজুর রহমান। তুরস্কের সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য জনাব মাহমুদ গোকসুসহ নামাজে উপস্থিত ছিলেন তুরস্কের বিভিন্ন সংস্থার নেতৃবৃন্দ, বাসাতের সদস্যবৃন্দ ও বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটির ব্যক্তিবর্গ।
সদ্য হাস্যোজ্বল তারেক ভাই বাংলাদেশ স্টুডেন্টস এসোসিয়েশন তুরষ্ক (বাসাত) এর কার্যনির্বাহী সদস্য ছিলেন। আমাদের মাঝে স্বপ্নের আলোকবর্তিকা হয়ে ছিলেন প্রিয় তারেক ভাই। ভালোবাসা, সাহায্য, সহযোগিতা দিয়ে পাশে ছিলেন তুরস্কে অবস্থিত আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষার্থীদের।
শারীরিক অসুস্থতার কারণে গত ২৫ এপ্রিল, বৃহস্পতিবার দিবাগত রাতে আমাদের শোকাহত করে পরকালের উদ্দেশ্যে যাত্রা করেন তিনি। মহান আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীন তাকে জান্নাতের উচ্চ মর্যাদা দানা করুক। আমীন।

After today’s Friday prayer, the absentee funeral prayer for our dear late Tarequl Islam took place at the historic Fatih Mosque in Istanbul.
Maulana Mostafizur Rahman led the funeral prayer, followed by a heartfelt condolence speech from Dr. Hafizur Rahman, assistant professor at Tokat Gazi Osmanpaşa Üniversitesi. Among the attendees were former Turkish parliament member Mr. Mahmut Göksu, leaders from various Turkish organizations, members of the Bangladesh community, and representatives from BASAT.
Tarequl Islam, a cherished executive member of BASAT and a guiding light to many, selflessly supported international students in Turkey with love and care. His passing on the night of April 25th has left us saddened, we pray that Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah.
